Measuring the impact of tackling reoffending in Merseyside

Everton commissioned Simetrica-Jacobs to assess and value the programmes outcomes using the Sport Value Bank tool, making use of data on three key target outcomes: preventing reoffending, improved motivation and training.  SportValueBank showed that the programme generated £415,000 of social value, representing £2.60 for each £1 invested in the programme.

The evaluation has allowed Everton in the Community to get additional support from funders and engage more participants across Merseyside and Halton.  Everton is now using SportValueBank to evaluate all of their community programmes going forward.
